Have you always dreamed of visiting Central America, but haven’t booked that trip yet?
Well, now is the time why the world is still a bit chaotic, Costa Rica keeps you calm and collect and welcomes the tourism with open arms, unlike some other countries around the world.
Yes, we are still in the midst of a worldwide mess right now, but being in Costa Rica for nine days made it easy to forget which day of the week it was and the fact the rest of the world is in utter chaos, or most of it anyways.
Costa Rica is a place that you will automatically feel like the ‘La pura vida,‘ life.
How is that so when it is a land filled with adventure, bugs, and beaches? Well, for one, the people really make Costa Rica what it is.
I was on a tour with my Wonderlusters a week ago (November 2021) and ran into some lovely Americans from South Carolina. They had never visited the land of the pure life before.
As we were trekking along through the rainforest, we were all admiring the monkeys, butterflies and other animals in their habitat and one of the guys asked, why is this your third visit to Costa Rica? What is your favorite thing about Costa Rica?
I didn’t think twice when asked what kept me coming back to Costa rica and I answered, “the people.”
As well as having our amazing tour guide, Mario from Rainforest Explorers, guiding us, this really made complete sense and was an answer that was a no brainer. Knowing that I made connections in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, prior to arriving, having never been to the area, made it even more special. Each and every connection and person I connected with virtually lived up and beyond my expectations, or the little that I had.
I had the honor of connecting the right people, from the tour company to my new business partners and friends who own a private catering business. The private chef, Arturo, is incredibly talented and I had never actually witnessed his work in person. His amazing partner in crime also made the process of going to Costa Rica during this time even more streamlined and we are so very grateful for her.
My attending Wonderlusters were truly impressed with the talents of Chef Arturo and his team. Every meal was made with compassion and care and you could truly see that in the plates, (as seen her) as well as indulging in each and every flavorful bite was truly a delight.
We were all so impressed with the food that we will be launching Costa Rica 2.0 for May 2022.
The villa for CR 2.0 is an incredible property as visited in person this trip.
