White sandy beaches in your back yard
Have you wanted to get on a plane but have heard the woes of the travel industry. Well, I just returned from an amazing trip using my Southwest companion pass for the first time. This proved to be quite awesome as two of us were able to fly together for the cost of taxes. If you know what that means, then you are onto something, or. maybe I am onto something.

What does the companion pass mean? It means you can get any companion that you identify to join you on a trip for the cost of taxes, so basically they fly for $11.20. Yes, that is a real life thing. So, my companion pass was earned in May 2022 and it is valid until the end of December 2023. Yes, ladies and gents, that is right almost two years of almost free flights.
Florida has so many hidden gems that I was actually quite surprised to learn that there are amazing white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, just south of Tampa. I really was shocked to see these beaches when we walked across the street from our airbnb to our first day on the beach.
Redington beach and Madeira beach about 40 minutes south of Tampa are truly great spots to visit. The beach was so great that I am interested in a vacation home there someday, or maybe an island off the coast. Everyone can have goals, can’t they.
