Which beach was rated #1 in the USA?
Have you been wanting to find the best beach in the USA or think you found the best beach?
In May 2022 I thought I found the best spot to relax and soak in the vitamin d rays, but I was mistaken.
I just returned back from an amazing mini vacation at what I would like to call the best beach in the United States. Apparently, the USA isn’t far behind in agreeing with this news as TripAdvisor and many other publications have rated Siesta Key beach as a top beach to visit.
Siesta Key has it all including retail therapy in siesta key village or over the bridges to Lido key village too. You can find high end stores as well as a local jaunt to grab some ice cream or gelato at a local shop.
Siesta key is also a perfect location for enjoying typical Florida cuisine to include but not limited to lots of seafood, italian, American and you can follow it up with one of the many laid-back bars if that is your style.
A great local spot visited is known to locals as ‘SKOB’, Siesta Key Oyster bar. The local oysters are on happy hour daily at $12.00 (6/2023) for a dozen and the service was great too, but this place being a local spot may have a waiting list upon arrival.
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a fun adventurous trip with friends, or a relaxing one with family, one of the top beaches to visit in the United states surely won’t disappoint.
Do you think your beach is the best beach too? Well, let’s hear it because I truly thought Redington beach, south of Tampa, Florida was one of the best beaches, with clear gulf waters and little waves until I discovered drive further south and you can have it all at Siesta Key.
After flying into Sarasota/Bradenton airport I realize there was no mistake in booking this getaway to paradise.
The airport is small and easy to navigate and the best beach is only thirty minutes away. Imagine that, you land, grab your bags (don’t bother checking bags as bathing suits and shorts, don’t take up much space), grab your rental car or an uber and head on down to Siesta Key beach or one of the many lovely and inviting beaches with fine white sand and crystal clear waters.
