Traveling abroad surprises with friendships, food and culture

Have you always wanted the opportunity to try new foods, find friends from other countries and experience a culture other than your own? 

If all this is something you fancy, then you came to the right place. 

I created this community and business to do exactly that. 

I am Nicole, the founder and CNO; Chief Nomad officer of Wonderlust Adventure LLC. 

I have been traveling the world since my first time abroad September 2001 when I signed up to study abroad in London. 

I had never been abroad and will never forget navigating tube (metro) lines in London, England, meeting roommates who I had never met before, all while navigating being an expatriate during a tough time in the history of the world. 

I was forever changed and in 2001 is where I grew my ‘travel wings,’ and I haven’t ever looked back.

I decided to start Wonderlust Adventure with the thought of bringing other solo adventure enthusiasts together who have a passion and love for cultural adverse countries, delectable foods, and creating stories with strangers from around the globe.

We may not all speak the same languages, but one thing we do share is the love to see the world.

I am currently writing this from Helsinki, Finland where I have had the most amazing time with the most incredible host whom I met only two months ago. 

She opened up her heart and home to me to experience Finland and surrounding countries.

Above you will see other friends I met, from England whilst sharing the isle of Burano, in Italy together. 

We became fast friends and shared food, cocktails and tons of laughs.

I am grateful for my love of travel and creating Wonderlust Adventure was made with you in mind.

 I know firsthand, solo travel can get lonely and sometimes you just want someone to share a drink, pizza or laughs with abroad.

I welcome you here and hope you decide to join us on an adventure abroad. Small groups abroad is our speciality and I hope you consider a future trip together.
