Exploring National State parks: Joshua Tree National Park

Have you wanted to get away but in fear of traveling safely? Well, I can tell you I was in your shoes, maybe not literally or figuratively, but with gyms closed in California and staying close(r) to home the idea of getting out and feeling like you have relieved some of the 2020 tensions is a thing of the past these days, or so we think.

The interesting piece about living in my own shoes is that my mental state was taking a toll and I was going down hill, especially having just been ill for the last three to four weeks I really needed to get away.

So, what did I do, booked an airbnb 2.5 hours away from home and went on a three day adventure and I couldn’t feel any more relieved. My mental state is recharged and I did this safely outdoors and on my own.

You can too, and take all the necessary precautions. I found an amazing airbnb in the desert and went on an adventure, seeing outdoor art installations by Noah Purafoy and it was not a sight for sore eyes either. The outdoor art was really interesting and unique and a definitely must see, just fifteen minutes off the beaten bath.

Then onto Joshua Tree National State park where I was mesmerized by large rock boulders, mountains, cacti and jack rabbits passing by with their long ears and quick feet.

I am recharged and re-energized and ready for my next excursion. One last thing, don’t forget to take it all in and breathe the amazing clean air of the desert. Oh and one last thing, don’t forget your sunscreen, as the sun is still out.
